Curriculum Vitae

Claudia Helade has designed and taught graduate courses in Transpersonal Psychology, Jungian Psychology, Jungian dream work, Ritual, Professional Ethics, Environmental Ethics, Death as a Spiritual Teacher, Grief Counseling Skills, Holistic Philosophy, Transformation, and Women’s Transitions. 

She has served as Crisis Counselor and Grief Consultant at Boulder County Hospice, and in private practice with individuals and couples since 1985. 

Dr. Helade served as core faculty member at Boulder Graduate School from 1985 to 1990, and adjunct faculty at Naropa University in the Transpersonal Psychology Counseling Program from 1990 – 1994.  

She has designed and led workshops and seminars in Women’s Transformation, Dynamics of Grief, Jungian Dream Work, Native American Studies, Death as a Spiritual Teacher, and Transpersonal Elements of Addiction.

Claudia conducted a year long group process for the development and integration of the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies, titled “The Eye of the Heart – The Illumination of the Soul through the Sacred Earthly Seasons”.  

Claudia Helade’s doctoral dissertation in Transpersonal Psychology and Visual Art is titled “Masks of Grace Upon the One – The Art of Wonder and the Creative Response: A Transpersonal Aesthetic”.

Claudia Helade is a practicing artist working with transpersonal, spiritual themes using photographs from the Hubble Space Telescope.

Claudia uses the creative process to invite couples and individuals to explore and expand their spiritual and psychological potentials with skill, humor and respect.
